🧩💭 One Puzzle, So Many Memories… 💭🧩
This morning Barbara and Nicky enjoyed spending some time putting together a puzzle, and it was lovely to see how one simple picture can bring back so many wonderful memories. ❤️
As the pieces came together, so did the stories, conversations and memories from years gone by. They talked about places they had visited, things they had seen and moments that had stayed with them over the years.
It just goes to show that sometimes it’s not about completing the puzzle… it’s about the memories and conversations that happen along the way. 🥰🧩✨

🌱 Welcome to the Mavern Staff Family, Britney!
We are delighted to welcome a rather unusual — but very hardworking — new member to our Mavern staff family: Britney Shears!
Our Britney is a hardworking lady who lives outside and spends her time keeping our grass looking beautiful. She is a real team player and takes great pride in maintaining the grounds.
Britney works alone at night, but please don't worry — she is perfectly safe! When she needs a little rest, she takes herself back to her docking station for a well-earned sleep and recharge. Once she is fully charged and full of energy again, she heads back out onto the fields to continue tending to the grass.
So, if you see a little white machine whizzing past you in the garden, don't panic — it's only Brit doing her thing! 😂🌱

This afternoon we enjoyed our popular singing group, Mavern Melodies, with the talented Jeannie. 🙂
Everyone had a wonderful sing-along to some classic songs, bringing back many happy memories of wartime days and special family occasions. There was plenty of toe-tapping, chair dancing, and smiles all around!

This afternoon we had great fun playing the classic TV show quiz game Family Fortunes! 🎉📺
Three teams competed against each other, trying to guess the top survey answers and score the most points... "Our survey says..." 💥
There was plenty of friendly competition as the teams went head-to-head, with everyone giving their best answers in the hope of topping the scoreboard. The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of cheering from both our residents and staff.
It was a fantastic team effort from everyone involved, and a wonderful afternoon enjoyed by all. ❤️
A huge congratulations to Team 3 – "The Flowers" 🌸, who came out on top and claimed their prizes! 🏆👏

This afternoon we enjoyed our popular monthly chair exercise class with the lovely Fran from Balance and Beyond. 💪🪑🎶
There were lots of smiles as everyone took part in a fun, full-body workout set to music. It was wonderful to see everyone exercising together and having such a great time!
Afterwards, we rounded off the afternoon with a general knowledge quiz. Everyone worked together, enjoyed some friendly competition, and put their knowledge to the test. 🧠🏆
A big congratulations to Billy, Mary, and Ken, who came out on top and claimed their prize with the highest score! 👏🎉
Arthur also enjoyed a catch up with his motorbike buddy sharing stores and photos about there past motorbike experiences. 🙂
